Take summer courses at Ivy Tech, save on college costs

BLOOMINGTON – Ivy Tech Community College is enrolling now for summer classes starting Monday, June 10. There is still time to fill out a free application and register for courses. Students already enrolled at another college can take classes as a guest student that transfer to in-state universities, saving on college costs. Classes are offered online and on-campus, and parking is free.

Some program offerings at the Bloomington campus, aligned with local employer demand, include Optometric Technology, Medical Assisting, Paramedic Sciences, Hospitality/Culinary Arts, and Cyber Security. Some certifications that lead to jobs, such as Dementia Care, can be completed in only eight weeks. Certifications lead to associate degrees at Ivy Tech, which can be completed in as little as two years. Also, a variety of degree offerings transfer to in-state universities.

Prospective students can apply now for free at ivytech.edu/applynow.
